I was just surfing through. I also have Chapman's in my family tree. My great-great grandmother was Abagail Chapman, a daughter of Eliphalet H. Chapman and Antoinette Isbel. Abagail's family dates all the way back to William Chapman of New London, CT and even farther back to Alexander Chapman in Tasburgh, England in the early 1500's. You have a wonderful site and I am glad I had a chance to see it. God bless!

Great job! I, too, am looking for my ancestors. I hope I do as well. Daubert is one of the family names and I seem to be stuck on Jacob Daubert. He married Wilhemina Nenneman. They lived in Spring Grove, but if in IL, WI, or MN, I have no idea. Perhaps you came across him in your Daubert search?
